How To Transfer Your Number To INS Communications
- Download a Letter of Authorization Form
- Obtain a copy of your most recent phone bill that Clearly shows all of the following:
- The number you wish transferred.
- The name on the account.
- The service delivery address.
- Fax the completed form and phone bill to 1-408-519-6735
Transferring Your Number - The Timing
Transferring your number will take a minimum of 20 business days upon receipt of complete and correct paperwork. You may track the progress of your request through your web account.
If you are a DSL Subscriber
DSL subscribers are a special situation because they must keep their existing phone numbers to maintain a high-speed connection to INS Communication. In this instance, we will assign you a new INS Communications number and you can begin enjoying the benefits of INS Communications without delay.
You can transfer your cell phone or wireless number too
In late 2003, Federal legislation went into effect allowing wireless phone customers to transfer their numbers to INS Communications.
